In a 23XI Racing/Toyota press conference Tuesday, Tyler Reddick was a surprise guest for a surprising cause. Denny Hamlin, one of 23XI’s co-owners along with Michael Jordan, and the team stated that Reddick will join the team in time for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season after he had signed on with them.
It’s a long-term deal, according to the team. Despite Reddick’s contract expiring at the end of the 2022 season, he will continue to compete for Richard Childress Racing until the end of the season and into the next year.
A five-year strategy with the ultimate objective of winning a championship is in place at 23XI, according to Hamlin and 23XI president Steve Lauletta, and they believe Reddick will help them achieve that goal.

Even if anything is conceivable, Hamlin remarked on Tuesday that he does not “anticipate” having three cars in 2024.

Who Is the Champion?
Reddick has won the Xfinity Series twice before. In 2018, he won the championship with JR Motorsports, and in 2019, he won it with RCR. For the second year in a row, Reddick has qualified for the playoffs with a win this season. After losing in the first round, he ended up in 13th place.
