Lais Ribeiro, a Victoria’s Secret Angel, has married! On July 7, she married former NBA star Joakim Noah in a lovely beach ceremony in their native nation of Brazil. Both Lais and Joakim wore white at their wedding, while their bridal and groom parties wore sand.
Lais chose a lovely fit-and-flare gown with a semi-sheer bodice embellished with flower embellishments. Her sleeves were off-the-shoulder and adorned with additional embroidered flowers, which were also seen on her tulle skirt. Joakim, for his part, was dressed in a white suit.
Both wore white flowers as accessories, with Joakim wearing a boutonnière pinned to the left side of his breast and Lais wearing flowers attached to the right side of her hair. For the ceremony, she wore her hair down in beachy waves, while Lais wore his in a bun.
Lais and Joakim exchanged vows and kissed for the first time as husband and wife behind a stunning floral archway of red, white, and pink roses.
The same roses lined the aisle as Lais’ father escorted her down in a blue suit. Lais chose white flowers for her bridal bouquet, which cascaded over her hands like a soothing wave.
In other photos from the wedding, attendees can be seen wearing brightly colored clothing as they watched the lovely couple say “I do.” Derrick Rose, Sara Sampaio, and Alaina Anderson were among the celebrities in attendance.

The happy pair got engaged during the Burning Man event in 2019, which Lais documented with a poignant Instagram post. “I’m a little late for Burning Man photos, and of course, I didn’t touch my phone for 5 days, so I don’t have a single one, but thanks to my BFF @jeromeduran, he recorded one of the finest moments in my life!” “@stickity13 surprised me at my favorite location on the planet and proposed,” she posted with photos of herself hugging her fiancé. “And I couldn’t be more overjoyed!
