It has been confirmed by reliable sources that Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have broken up. The Academy Award winner, 47, and the Never Goin’ Back actress/model, 25, have been linked since January 2018 during an outing in Aspen, Colorado, and they made their debut as a pair when they sat together in the front row at the Oscars in February 2020. The celebrities’ representatives remained silent.
Back in July 2019, an insider told PEOPLE that DiCaprio and Morrone were “very serious” with each other. “This is not a platonic pairing. Camila is frequently found at his place. Camila’s status as Leo’s girlfriend has been common knowledge for quite some time. Leo also acclimated her to his folks a long time ago.”
DiCaprio and Camila Morrone Have Broken Up.
Then in June of that year, a reliable source claimed that DiCaprio “loves being with” Morrone because the two “spent 24/7″ together during the pandemic lockdown. They are really close,” the person said. Earlier this summer, DiCaprio and Morrone were spotted relaxing on a Malibu beach together for the Fourth of July holiday. Morrone and her mom were pictured in St. Tropez last August. As recently as last week, DiCaprio was seen having dinner with friends in Los Angeles.
Morrone addressed the age gap between herself and DiCaprio in an interview with the Los Angeles Times published in December 2019 “Hollywood, like the rest of the world, is full of examples of couples with significant age disparities. First and foremost, I believe in the right of every individual to date anyone they like.” Moreover, she claimed it was “I feel like there should always be an identity aside from who you’re dating… Being recognized primarily for who you’re dating is irritating,” she stated. I get the connection, but I think it will become less of a topic of discussion over time.”
Leonardo DiCaprio Has a Problem Dating
Morrone will next be seen in the Prime Video limited series adaption of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 bestseller, Daisy Jones & The Six. Martin Scorsese will direct Leonardo DiCaprio in Killers of the Flower Moon, a film adaptation of David Grann’s 2017 book, in 2019. After DiCaprio’s inevitable breakup with the model, who turned 25 in June, Twitter fans began trolling the 47-year-old actor, who is rumored to only date women under 25.
Maybe Leonardo DiCaprio has a problem dating ladies who were alive on 9/11 because he has such a deep and abiding hatred for that day. “Didn’t that ever cross your mind?” one Twitter user mocked cruelly. Perhaps the fact that women must be 25 to rent a car shows that Leonardo DiCaprio is a wonderful person and he feels guilty about it. “Did that ever cross your mind?” asked a second.
Leonardo Dicaprio when His Girlfriends Reach the Age of 25
Another Twitter user captioned a video of a lady throwing a baby into a fire with the words “Leonardo Dicaprio when his girlfriends reach the age of 25.” In 2017, while she was only 20, DiCaprio started dating Morrone. They first appeared on the Oscars red carpet in 2020. Morrone has previously defended their 23-year age gap, telling the Los Angeles Times in 2019 that “there are so many relationships in Hollywood
and the history of the world — where individuals have enormous age disparities. Simply said, I believe everyone should be free to date whomever they like. Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, Nina Agdal, and Gisele Bündchen are just some of the other A-list women DiCaprio has dated who were 25 or younger at the time of their romances.
