Behind-The-Scenes Peek at Dragon Age 4.

BioWare provided us a sneak peek at Dragon Age 4 during the opening night of Gamescom with a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming adventure.

No release date has yet been set for Dragon Age: Origins, but Casey Hudson says the team has been “thinking new methods of employing next-generation technology to bring the world of Dragon Age to life,” and also confirms that the game is in the early stages of production. No matter how long it takes, it’s wonderful to know that a new generation of Dragon Age is on its way.

The movie features interviews with numerous BioWare developers who are currently working on the game, as well as stunning concept art and a few quick glimpses of gameplay footage showing off various vistas and places. Also, I’m confident that one concept graphic has Dorian Pavus underwater (because we obviously need more Dorian), and if we end up heading to Tevinter, that would make so much sense.

Some Intriguing Facts.

The creators have also shared some interesting information with us, giving us a better idea of how we can return to Thedas. ‘What happens when you don’t have power?’ and ‘what happens when the people in control aren’t willing to solve the issues,’

asks Dragon Age 4’s lead writer Patrick Weekes. As a result, it is possible that we will step into the role of an underdog, doing what the people in authority are unwilling or unable to accomplish. For the time being, we can only imagine but considering what transpired in the Dragon Age Inquisition Trespasser DLC, our imaginations are running wild.

The Game Awards 2018.

“So, finally, you’ve found me. I’m sure you have a few questions for me.

” Fen’Harel, the Loki-like elven deity of treason, is referred to as the “Dread Wolf” in Dragon Age history, and he has (spoiler alert) ties to Solas and features extensively in Trespasser’s epilogue DLC.

The crimson lyrium idol prominently displayed in the trailer isn’t just an idol, either. You might remember it if you’ve played Dragon Age 2. Kirkwall’s templars are tainted by the idol’s influence. This section includes spoilers, so if you plan on reading the second book in the series any time soon, avoid it.

The Opening Act of Dragon Age 2.

With Varric and his brother Bartrand, you set out on a journey to reclaim lost dwarven treasures and make your fortune in the opening act of Dragon Age 2. Exactly the same idol from the trailer sits on top of an ancient dwarven that, is filled to the brim with red lyrium. By worshipping the idol, Bartrand becomes corrupted, and he abandons his own brother to die on the muddy roads.

Varric invites you to go visit Bartrand’s mansion in Hightown later in the second act for his personal quest. As it turns out, the idol has messed with his head and has forced him to “hear music.” While they were still alive, they were compelled to eat lyrium by the dwarf, who then chopped off their lyrium while they were alive.

It’s, to put it mildly, abysmal. Meredith, the Knight Commander of Kirkwall, is revealed to have purchased the idol from Bartrand after your face and fight him. Due to the red Elysium’s influence, Meredith has gone to great lengths in her battle against the mages and magic, nearly destroying Kirkwall in the process.
