Blizzard chose to surprise its followers by making a fresh announcement!

Diablo III isn’t simply a mobile game anymore. Blizzard revealed on Monday that Diablo Immortal, the mobile game that was first announced in 2018, would also be released on PC. Diablo Immortal will also support cross-platform play, allowing PC and mobile gamers to play together.

The new PC version was announced during Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal Livestream, during which game director Wyatt Cheng disclosed some new details about the game. The updated PC version will have gamepad compatibility, as well as a revamped WASD control scheme. Cross-save and cross-play will be included in the game, allowing users to quit their PC game and immediately get into the same character on their phones.

Although the PC version of the game, which will be released in June, will be an open beta test, it will contain all game material and features, and progress will be carried over to the final edition.

Diablo Immortal will be released in June as part of a massive open beta that fans have been anticipating for years. And only a few weeks before the new testing starts, Blizzard decided to surprise fans with a fresh announcement: Diablo Immortal is coming to PC.

This implies that later this year, the new game will be accessible for Android, iOS, and PC platforms in open beta. Fans have been waiting to learn all the specifics, especially whether Diablo Immortal Crossplay would be featured.

When Can We Expect Diablo Immortal?

Diablo Immortal will be released on June 2, 2022, on all supported platforms, according to Blizzard. Blizzard has repeatedly delayed the debut of the new game, causing fans to wait years. While things might always change, it looks that the June 2 launch date has been set in stone and will not be changed at the last minute. On June 2nd, both versions will be available.
The greatest shock came when Blizzard announced that Diablo Immortal will be free to play on mobile and PC, making it a cross-platform game with a port.

While Blizzard didn’t think it was appropriate to release a game for PC that was initially designed for Android and iOS devices, they felt compelled to do so owing to the backlash from fans.

“In the end, the decisive reason was that we knew many of you would try to play this game via an emulator, thereby prompting us to design a better experience,” Blizzard said in a note explaining the decision. So sit back and listen as we go through the PC edition of Diablo Immortal in further depth.”

Players will be able to pick from six different character classes, including classes from past Diablo games such as Barbarian, Wizard, and Necromancer. Legendary treasure will return in Diablo 3, providing players with lots of famous items to grind for. Set Gear from Diablo 3 will also be brought over by Blizzard, which contains benefits when enough parts from the same set are joined. Set bonuses often supplement class skills in a significant manner, offering players extra options for character customization.

When Diablo Immortal comes on PC and mobile, it will be completely free. On Blizzard’s website, players may already pre-register for the game.
