Weis Markets said on Wednesday, November 23, that it was recalling Weis Quality Sea Salt Caramel Ripple Ice Cream. The company says that some of the containers of this ice cream may have soy and coconut allergens that are not listed.

If someone with a severe allergy to soy or coconut eats this product, they could have a serious allergic reaction. Weis Quality Sea Salt Caramel Ripple Ice Cream is written on the container, and Weis Quality Caramel Caribou Ice Cream is written on the lid.

The ice cream comes in a round container with a sell-by date of 11/08/23 and a UPC of 041497-01288. This was made on August 22, 2011. On the bottom of the container, you can find the sell-by date. The product may have been sold in 197 Weis Markets stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and West Virginia.
