Leo Suter, who plays Harald, teased about his character’s relationship with Freyds and their future romance.

He stated: “These are two folks that… have a lot to say and work really well together. But, at the same time, there are strong forces and strong feelings tugging them apart, and, as with every love tale, there’s… it’s so simple in some ways, but so complicated in others.”

However, Leif was shown ready to pursue vengeance for what had occurred, especially after the unexpected death of his close warrior companion Liv. In an interview with Newsweek, Jeb Stuart revealed that the Vikings will travel throughout the world and encounter cultures they have never encountered before.
