Several NJ School Districts Have Mandated the Return of Masks

Students in multiple New Jersey school districts have returned from winter break and resumed wearing masks in classrooms.

Kids and employees in Paterson are required to wear masks indoors beginning on Tuesday, joining students in the Passaic School District, which resumed the requirement prior to Christmas break.

The Camden City School District recently imposed a two-week mask requirement for 18 schools.

In reaction to the so-called “tripledemic,” as instances of COVID-19, RSV, and influenza surge throughout the region, this action has been taken.
