Masks are required for students and staff in the Paterson Public Schools, starting on Tuesday. Students in the Passaic School District are also required to wear masks indoors since the district reintroduced the regulation before the winter break.
Additionally, the Camden City School District has announced that mask use will be required at 18 of its schools for the next two weeks.
The decision was made in reaction to the so-called “tripledemic,” which is characterized by an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19, RSV, and influenza throughout the region.
