On June 8th, 2010, Plies released his fourth album, “Goon Affiliated.” Bei Maejor made appearances on both of the first two songs from the album. Despite receiving mixed reviews, “Goon Affiliated” opened at number five on the Billboard 200. He proceeded to make cameos on other rappers’ tracks, including Young Jeezy’s “Lose Your Mind,” which was considered for the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo or Group.

Along with continuing to perform, Plies has also released several mixtapes and songs. Plies followed up his debut album with his fifth album, “The Real Testament 2,” which was published in 2020.

Legal Issues

After a nightclub shooting in Florida on July 2nd, 2006, police accused Plies of illegal possession of a concealed firearm. Members of Plies’ group are facing attempted murder charges after the gunfire that left five people injured. After Plies’ microphone was turned off due to the length of his performance, the shooting began. The promoter claims that Plies grew irate, shouted, started a fight, and then shot many times.

Plies was detained by authorities in Wesley Chapel, Florida, in 2017 for impaired driving. Plies was arrested after he declined to undergo a roadside breathalyzer test.
