Ncis Hawaii Season 2: All About Release Date, Cast, Plot and Trailer!

NCIS: Hawai’i had a strong first season, following in the tradition of shows like Magnum P.I. and Hawaii Five-0. In the opinion of some admirers, it even surpassed Hawaii Five-0. Regardless of whether it is the better crime drama, NCIS’ most recent spinoff does a good job of applying the tried-and-true NCIS model to the Hawaiian Islands.

NCIS: Hawai’i focused on family life, portraying it as prominently as the weekly investigations, in addition to depicting the island as a separate character. The viewers seemed to connect with that, and Season 2 will undoubtedly keep up the momentum. The following season can only build upon the strong foundation of Season 1 with the return of the whole original cast. Here is all Season 2 of NCIS: Hawaii has to offer.

When Will Ncis: Hawai’i Season 2 Be Released?

Season 2 of NCIS: Hawai’i has premiered on September 19 at 10:00 p.m. That means it will continue to air on Monday nights at 9:00 p.m., immediately following the original NCIS.

Fans will still be able to watch both seasons back to back, and viewers will no longer need to memorize a new day or time to stay up with the show. The new series will air soon, but fans may watch any of the NCIS episodes on Paramount+ in the meanwhile.

What is the Plot of Ncis: Hawai’i Season 2?

NCIS: Hawai’i’s first season didn’t end on a cliffhanger, in contrast to its predecessor. As the season came to an end, Jane Tennant hosted a large party for her coworkers and their families. Everything was perfect.

Whistler and Lucy were dating, Kai and his father got along well, and Tennant was developing feelings for Captain Joe Milius. There is only left for speculation as to what Season 2 will cover as all the story points appear to have been settled.

Because there was no significant drama left over from the previous season, the series will find some in the United States. CBS has stated that the first episodes of the Gibbs-less NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i will be a crossover event.

Tennant and Ernie will be in Washington DC for a meeting with Director Vance in “A Family Matter,” and while there, they will assist McGee and Company in tracking down the Raven. Torres and Knight will next travel to Oahu to continue their hunt for the Raven in “Prisoners’ Dilemma.” Hopefully, this isn’t the season’s final crossover, because it’s always exciting when TV universes collide.

Even while it appears like Lucy and Whistler will be the series’ leading relationship, there is a good chance that they will be together for a very long time. Less rosy prospects exist for Tennant and Milius, though.

If the captain and Tennant were to date, it would have to be long-distance because the captain was required to return to the Pentagon for a new mission. Vanessa Lachey spoke to PopCulture.com about the pairing and said, “I will say that as Season 2 production has begun, there have been some sparks that may or may not be involving Milius. You won’t be let down, though. That, I can assure you.”

Who Is in the Cast of NCIS: Hawai’i Season 2?

Lachey reprises her role as Jane Tennant, NCIS Pearl Harbor’s first female Special Agent in Charge. Meanwhile, Noah Mills plays Jesse Boone, Tennant’s deputy. Yasmine Al-Bustami plays Lucy Tara, Alex Tarrant plays Kai Holman, and Jason Antoon plays computer specialist Ernie Malik.

In the meantime, Tori Anderson reprises her role as FBI agent Kate Whistler. Kian Talan will reprise his role as Alex Tennant, and Mahina Napoleon will reprise her part as Julie Tennant in a recurring role. Napoleon can next be seen on AMC’s Tales of the Walking Dead.

The only genuine casting controversy is whether Enver Gjokaj will reprise his role as Captain Milius. He was a recurring character in Season 1, and if he returns, he will most likely remain the same in Season 2. However, as Lachey remained tight-lipped on Milius and Tennant’s relationship, fans will have to wait and see if the character returns or remains at the Pentagon.

Is There a Trailer for Ncis: Hawai’i Season 2?

NCIS: Hawai’i has published a Season 2 teaser. It didn’t really tease any story points, as predicted. Nonetheless, it was confirmed that the first episode of Season 2 would be part of a crossover event.

NCIS’ first episode of the season is “A Family Matter,” and Hawai’i’s first episode is “Prisoners’ Dilemma.” They will both discuss the Raven-centric cliffhanger from the Season 19 finale of NCIS. Tennant and Ernie will begin in Washington, DC, and Torres and Knight will travel to Oahu in the second episode.

How Can I Watch Ncis: Hawai’i Season 2 Online?

Season 2 premiered on September 19, and you can watch it on CBS live, the CBS website on a streaming device, or the CBS app. Season 1 episodes are also available to watch on Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount Plus.
