Main Street Now Joins the List of Former Down-The-Shore NJ Clubs.

When the Main Street Bar and Grille in Ocean Township closed its doors after operating for more than 40 years on Friday, the Jersey Shore lost another enduring bar and grill. It was purchased by the nearby Seaview Auto Corp for more extensive repair capabilities.

They also hold some great memories of the good times had by people who met there to start relationships or celebrated the good times in their lives by partying there, in addition to the great food and drink that will no longer be served at Main Street (and they did have some great burgers, clams, and wings like their Facebook page says).

Even though many of the sites we frequented growing up along the sea are no longer there, we still have fond memories of them.

I don’t recall wearing those shorts, and I’m not going to say I did. Here are a few more clubs from the past that can bring back some fond memories for you. Perhaps it was there that you met the person you will be with for the rest of your life. When you see them, perhaps they’ll jog your mind and give you a fascinating tale to share. Regarding those who are still present. While we still have them, enjoy them.
