Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are expecting their second child nearly two years after the tragic miscarriage of their son.
Chrissy Teigen confirmed in her most recent Instagram post that she and her husband John Legend are expecting their second child. Teigen revealed in a new Instagram photo that the pair has been granted a second chance nearly two years after she had a miscarriage. She posed with her baby bump exposed and included an emotional statement.
Teigen stated, “The last few years have been, to say the least, an emotional whirlwind, but joy has once again entered our home and hearts.” In the accompanying shot, the author of Cravings can be seen posing for a mirror selfie while flaunting her baby belly. Teigen also stated in her email that she is feeling optimistic and fantastic.
In the email she published, Chrissy also explained how difficult it had been to conceive again after her heartbreaking miscarriage and added, “Every checkup, I’ve told myself, “Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce it,” but after hearing a heartbeat, I decide I’m still too afraid. I don’t believe I’ll ever leave a checkup with more excitement than anxiety, but thus far, everything has been flawless and lovely.”
