WINS (1010) NEW YORK — A Brooklyn man was discovered dead in his bed on Wednesday with apparent head injuries, and on Thursday, police were reportedly searching for his roommate.

Officers from the New York Police Department responding to a 911 call discovered 53-year-old James Hudley unconscious in his East New York apartment on Hinsdale Street, close to Linden Boulevard, at around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
The officers found Hudley face down on his bed, suffering from what seemed to be a head injury.
When emergency medical services arrived, they confirmed his death.
Police say they have determined this to be a homicide. As the investigation progresses, the medical examiner will identify the cause of death.

It was stated in the Daily News that before Hudley’s body was discovered, someone had called 911 to report a confrontation between Hudley and his roommate.
