The Long Island police department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man shown on surveillance film allegedly breaking into a business on the island before making off with a bundle of cash.

According to the investigators, the suspect shattered the front window of the store and stole roughly $230 in cash from the register.

The suspect was identified as a Black man who was wearing grey sweatpants, grey jeans, a black hat, and black sneakers, according to the police. In addition to that, he had on a pair of black gloves and a black mask.
