According to the allegations made by the authorities, a woman from Neptune Township has been charged with stealing more than $146,000 from her previous place of employment.
The 47-year-old defendant, Jodi L. Vanaman, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, as stated by the Prosecutor for Monmouth County, Raymond S. Santiago.

The charges were brought as a result of an investigation that was conducted by the MCPO Financial Crimes and Public Corruption Bureau. The investigation was started as a result of a referral by the Neptune City Police Department.

The investigation revealed that at various times between 2016 and 2021, while employed as an office manager for All Coast Service, a heating and air conditioning company with headquarters in Neptune City, Vanaman allegedly made numerous unauthorized purchases using company credit cards and operating accounts, spending stolen funds on personal expenses of her own and those of a relative, Santiago said.

The investigation also revealed that Vanaman allegedly made these purchases while working for All Coast Service.
On Tuesday, December 6, Vanaman surrendered herself without causing any trouble for the authorities. She was given a summons complaint to read pending the upcoming procedures that will take place in the Superior Court of Monmouth County.
