McNally, who stated that he had a “strong” belief in the concept of second chances, was quoted as saying, “Anyone generous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere, but especially Balthazar.”
McNally had previously written a piece in which he referred to Corden as a “little Cretin of a man” and stated that he “86’d Corden. It did not make me laugh.”
McNally cited two examples of the supposedly abusive behavior displayed by Corden. McNally accused Corden of showing a hair to an apologetic restaurant manager before demanding: “Get us another round of drinks this second.
And also take care of all of our drinks so far.” McNally also claimed that Corden hinted at writing “nasty reviews” online. McNally referred to a manager’s report that was dated June.
