During a confrontation with a lady late on Wednesday, an employee at a juice business on the Upper East Side suffered multiple stab wounds and is in critical condition, according to the police.
The employee, who was 39 years old, and the suspect got into a fight at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday inside the Juice Island located on Third Avenue close to East 61st Street, according to the authorities.

According to the investigators, the woman then took a knife from the counter and stabbed the man multiple times, including in the head, neck, back, and hands.
According to the police, the suspect fled the scene on foot while proceeding northbound on East 61st Street.
