Is anyone familiar with Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Universe? Who is she? Whether or whether she is a squirrel-like girl, it’s hard to tell.
Does she make a living by consuming acorns? Squirrel Girl’s name appears on this list, but why? Who is Marvel’s most powerful character, in your opinion?
In addition to the well-known characters we’ve come to know and love (and loathe), Marvel has accumulated quite a bit of strength in the ranks of its characters throughout the years.
These next 25 characters are able to hold their own against the most strong characters in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics. But how do they fare when compared to each other?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Most Powerful Characters.
1. The Thing
In the first glimpse, The Thing appears to be a formidable opponent. It is true that he shares many similarities with the Hulk, yet Hulk’s uncontrolled wrath allows him to grow even more powerful through raw force. However, Thing’s shortcomings lie in the fact that he lacks other abilities, such as increased senses.
A tank of force is fantastic, but relying only on it might make enemies more difficult to deal with. With a Fantastic Four movie in the works, as well as Mister Fantastic popping up in Multiverse of Madness, it’s safe to assume that The Thing will make his MCU debut soon.
Wolverine’s retractable adamantium claws make him even more unstoppable, as he has impervious skin and the ability to heal himself. While Wolverine may be a mutant superhero, he has a dark side that’s clearly revealed by the number of individuals he’s slain over the course of his long career as an X-Men member.
Howlett became Wolverine after witnessing his stepfather’s death at the hands of his father, Thomas Howlett (the groundskeeper). This prompted James to grow his claws, which led to the death of his father.
Vibranium and the Mind Stone were used to produce Vision, a powerful new synthezoid. The vision was originally intended to be Ultron, but instead, he evolved into a fully-fledged superhuman with a mind of a genius.
Rather than relying on weaponry, Vision relies on blasts of energy, body and skin manipulation, and strength to overcome his foes. There are very few people who can pick up Thor’s hammer again, but he is one of them.
4. Doctor Strange.
The former Sorcery Supreme, Doctor Strange is a Master of the Mystic Arts and an expert in all things magical. With Eldrich Magic, he can create shields and other energy blasts, and he has the ability to astral project. He also uses a variety of spells that have different effects on his adversaries. Sling Rings allow Doctor Strange and others to travel between the different dimensions of the Multiverse via portals they create.
5. Captain Marvel.
Capt. Marvel, Carol Danvers, is an underappreciated Avenger because she’s virtually an indestructible human rocket. Captain Marvel gained her superhuman abilities after being exposed to the Tesseract’s extraterrestrial powers during a cataclysmic explosion.
When it comes to her other abilities, she can also fly and make cosmic energy blasts, absorb the effects of powerful powers, and produce powerful photon blasts. She may be considered the most strong Avenger by some, but Hulk and Thor have so much sheer strength that it would be difficult for her to defeat them in a fight.
As one of the best-known superheroes of all time, Hulk is distinguished by his Gamma radiation-powered strength, which is determined by the amount of anger in his system.
Even though he’s a kind giant at heart, he’s a fearsome foe for anyone who dares cross his path. To his strength, he added amazing leaping and healing abilities, as well as the ability to regenerate on his own.
Although Thor and Hulk engage in a strength duel, it is in their power control that Thor truly triumphs: Hulk is more volatile, which means he lacks the ability to control his powers.
Thor is a steadfast leader with the rare ability to wield his legendary hammer, Mjolnir, which is imbued with magic and can absorb enormous amounts of power. Be Thor, he was destined to battle for justice from an early age as the son of King Odin of Asgard.
8. Adam the Warlock.
Adam Warlock, who will be played by Will Poulter in the upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3, was developed by a team of scientists in their attempt to create the ideal human being. Ayesha, the Sovereign race’s leader, will design Adam Warlock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They betrayed her, and she plans on using Adam to bring them down with him.
Superhuman strength, speed, agility, and durability are all depicted as part of his arsenal in the comics. Then there’s his ability to fly, manipulate the flow of energy, manipulate matter, and be a wizard. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his actual strength level is still unknown, but he will undoubtedly be among the most formidable characters.
What? Did Thanos come in second on your list? The first is that Thanos’s power will be significantly diminished if the Infinity Gauntlet is not present. Thor wields a variety of superhuman abilities, including cosmic energy projection.
superhuman strength, telepathy, and the ability to live forever (well, kind of). Thanos may be the most powerful being in the universe, but there is one person who could wipe him off…

10. Professor X.
Professor X is Professor X. The majority of physical attacks against Professor X would be stopped if he could defeat Thanos in the telepathic world. Professor X’s telepathy is far more advanced than that of Thanos. Professor X, the X-founding Men’s father, has influenced a slew of other superheroes over the course of his career.
To put it another way, he’s more human than Thanos, who wants to wipe out all life on the planet with his wrath. Because he is a mutant, he wants everyone to be accepted for who they really are.
Professor X’s telepathy-based abilities include mind control, mental shielding, and psionic blasts, to name just a few. In a conflict, the person on the other side of Professor X is the one you want to avoid.
