“Severance” fans may know that water tower. It is part of Bell Labs, now Bell Works, and located in Holmdel, NJ, along Garden State Parkway exit 114.
As of this writing, the Apple TV+ thriller series crew is back and filming season 2 of their Ben Stiller-directed television special. “Severance” will also add new characters.
According to tvguide.com, “Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, and new cast members Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, Merritt Wever, Alia Shawkat, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, John Noble, Robby Benson, and Stefano Carannante will return for Season 2.”
Bell Works may look different during manufacture. It appears extensive upgrades are underway.

Despite the shoot’s temporary adjustments, the venue is still open to the public, which is wonderful. Another filming location was cleared.
Bell Works’ tropical-themed Bar Bella is here. People would drink and sing karaoke or watch local talent at this bar.
This space is unoccupied during filming. The rear walls are actually patio-facing glass windows.
Here’s how this place usually looks. It looks different with the production crews.
Despite the shooting, Bell Works is open to the public. Some seats and benches from the major areas have been temporarily moved to the extreme ends of the building and are still available for public use.
Jersey Freeze and other stores outside the shot location remain open. Although some filming takes place in public, most take place on the top levels, which are restricted to the public.
However, this year’s production crews won’t be around for long. They will finish production in December and transfer to their next location in 2022.
So Bell Works bar fans won’t have to wait long to have fun. After manufacture, it’ll be restored.
