In New Jersey, three ladies were arrested for allegedly stealing $71,157 from Atlantic Health System.
The three women, Jessica Addison, 39, Kaleigh Kalb, 21, and Isabella Valentine, 21, have been charged with theft and conspiracy.
In November 2021, the Financial Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office began looking into allegations of payroll theft at the Atlantic Health System location in Morris Plains.
Addison, a former company employee, was found to have constructed fake employee accounts for Kalb and Valentine and submitted fake timecards on their behalf, allowing them to earn weekly payroll distributions which they divided with Addison.
As a result, the ladies have been receiving and splitting weekly payroll payouts of about ,157.
