As it turns out, Jimmy Fallon is just the latest famous individual to fall prey to the internet’s prevalent trend of spreading fake news of their demise. Like similar scams concerning Tom Holland and Wendy Williams before it, the report of Fallon’s death has been proven to be false.
Twitter users first began to speculate that Jimmy Fallon had died after seeing the post: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the demise of late-night legend, husband, and father of two, Jimmy Fallon.” It was speculated in the tweet that Fallon had passed away. 1923-2022.”

Not only that but an old photo of Jimmy Fallon and his dog was attached to the tweet. Many people fell for the hoax because they thought the photo in the fake post came from the Tonight Show’s official account. However, the actor is doing fine and is still active in the industry.
