When a state Marshal and a locksmith went to evict a guy from his Stamford apartment, they discovered his badly decayed body inside.
Stamford Police Assistant Chief Rich Conklin stated that the incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 18 when the two entered the residence at 455 Hope St. to evict the guy.
A horribly decomposed body of a 56-year-old man was discovered by the two as they walked throughout the flat, Conklin said.

He went on to say, “You can image their amazement.”
According to him, the apartment’s interior was a “disaster,” complete with vermin and a hoarding condition.
Based on Conklin’s assessment, the individual had likely been there for 9-10 months, making it one of the most serious examples they’ve ever encountered.

He pleaded for anyone with details regarding the victim’s relatives or whereabouts to contact the police.
This a reminder to keep an eye on your neighbors, according to Conklin.
Conklin advised that people contact the police if they noticed mail or newspapers stacking up at a person’s home or if they hadn’t seen the person in a while.
