Jimmy Keene is not an exception to the rule that desperate circumstances demand desperate measures. When Jimmy Keene is sentenced to ten years in prison, he does everything he can to be released.
He may either travel to a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and gather information from a serial killer suspect, or he can remain and serve his 10-year sentence.
The series chronicles his travels as he seeks to complete the mission that holds his freedom captive. This captivating story subverts the crime genre by enlisting the help of the criminals themselves to unravel its mysteries.
What is the Second Season of Black Bird’s Plot?
Jimmy Keene is condemned to ten years in prison with minimal security. He is the son of a decorated police officer and a former high school football standout.
He is offered a choice for redemption, which raises his hopes; he must either be transferred to a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and source information from a serial killer by befriending him, or he must remain in his current minimum-security prison and serve his ten-year sentence with no chance of pardon.
He is in a precarious situation, caught between a rock and a hard place. After much deliberation, he decides to enter the maximum-security prison for the criminally insane.
The only piece of advice he received from the investigators was “do not approach him too quickly, lest he discovers we sent you.” The mission is made more difficult by the serial killer’s efforts to file an appeal, so Keene must act quickly to avoid being caught.
