Atlantic City, New Jersey Man Stabbing Victim, 21-year-old Arrested

A man who is believed to have stabbed another man in the chest on Thursday evening in Atlantic City has been taken into custody, according to the authorities.

AGGRESSIVE ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON, AND POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR AN ILLEGAL PURPOSE ARE THE CHARGES INVOLVED.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, officers from their department were dispatched to the 100 block of North Tennessee Avenue just before 6:00 p.m. after receiving a report of a male who had been stabbed in that location.

Officers arrived on the scene and discovered a victim, a 25-year-old man from Atlantic City who was suffering from a stab wound to the upper chest and was badly bleeding.

The weapon that was found at the scene and is thought to have been used in the stabbing was discovered there.

The victim received treatment in the City Division of the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center after being transported there.

The Atlantic County Justice Facility will be Gomez-new Santiago’s home for the foreseeable future.
