After being shot on Saturday afternoon in Atlantic City, a young man, aged 18, is currently making a full recovery.
According to the Atlantic City Police Department, officers from their department responded to a ShotSpotter alarm that was sent to the 600 block of North New York Avenue just after 3:00.

The authorities who responded to the scene found traces of gunfire in the neighborhood surrounding New York Avenue and Sewell Avenue, but they were unable to locate any victims.

After some time had passed, an Atlantic City resident who was 18 years old presented himself to the emergency room of the City Division of the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in order to receive treatment for a gunshot wound, as reported by the police.
It has been determined that the injury does not pose a threat to the patient’s life.
