Simu Liu was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China on April 19, 1989. He is a Canadian actor, author, stuntman, and producer. His most well-known performance was as Jung Kim in the 2016 CBC comedy Kim’s Convenience, which also starred Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, and Andrea Bang.
