When a Tractor Trailer He Was Driving Crashed From an Overpass Onto a Van Below, Killing the Truck Driver Inside.

In Westchester County on Wednesday, a tractor-trailer driver was killed when their huge rig rolled off an overpass.

When the truck driver lost control, they were traveling over a curved overpass in Harrison, connecting Interstates 287 and 684. This incident occurred around 10:30 a.m.

The vehicle overturned and crashed onto the cross-Westchester Expressway below.

As shown in footage captured by News copter 7, the van’s front end sustained significant damage while it was in motion on the motorway, but the cab itself was unharmed.
On-site medical personnel pronounced the truck driver deceased.

The van’s driver was rushed for treatment at Westchester Medical Center, and he made it out alive.

A truck was still blocking the motorway six hours later, and police were seen investigating.
