NEW JERSEY’S WEST BERLIN (WPVI) Though the Delaware Valley is entering its winter season, a group from South Jersey is keeping the spirit of summer alive by building with Legos.
Tanglewood is the latest invention of the South Jersey Lego User Group.
The club, with its headquarters in West Berlin, New Jersey, is an open, multi-cultural gathering of Lego fans of all ages.
Currently, the club has 30 active members.

They planned to get everyone together to make a huge structure two years ago, during the pandemic lockout.
Therefore, the name “Tile wood” was coined.
It’s like visiting Lego versions of Wildwood, Seaside Heights, and Ocean City.
Because of its massive size, it must be disassembled at home and moved to the convention hall on tables.
“It’s the same question,” said Kristie Evans, president of the club.
“It must have been quite a number of parts.

The fragments cannot be tallied. Sure enough, I can tell you that our clubhouse is stocked with more than 16,000 pounds of organized Lego pieces.”
You could see it at Brickfest 2018, a gathering of Lego fans of all ages that took place in Oaks, Pennsylvania.
Evans spent several summers as a kid at the Jersey Shore.
“We made an effort to include symbols representative of each seaside community. Those who participate in our programs, whether they are children or adults, find something they love to do and a place to let their inner child run wild “in the words of Evans.

The installation earned Brickfest’s “best collaborative display” award in 2021 and 2022. And they haven’t even finished demonstrating it yet!
