A few secret gems reside in New Jersey, but one was recently listed among the top 23 must-visit hidden gems in the entire country!
For instance, Margate’s Lucy the Elephant springs to me when I think about Jersey’s hidden treasures.
If you are unfamiliar, it is a genuine elephant in the centre of the seaside town of Margate.
It’s an awesome sight to watch!
Pilesgrove Township’s Cowtown Rodeo is an additional absolutely unique hidden gem in New Jersey.
It’s been around for nearly a century and is a truly cool spot to visit; you should definitely take a photo with this larger-than-life cowboy.
But if you’re seeking for a truly unique, family-friendly hidden gem in New Jersey, you don’t have to look any further than Hamilton, New Jersey, where a park is receiving national recognition.
What Hidden NJ Gem Recently Made A National List?
This location is new to me, but I’m adding it to my ever-growing list of New Jersey must-sees.
Grounds For Sculpture, the largest sculpture park in the Northeast, is tucked away in a 42-acre park and is a sight to behold!
According to Only In Your State, two visits may never be identical because new sculptures are added frequently and exhibits are not permanent.
The park was inaugurated in 1992 and opened to the public in 2000, and it contains a number of distinctive-looking works.
As a result of the park’s timed admittance system, you will never feel crowded while viewing the numerous art works.
You may become hungry after viewing so much art, in which case you can visit the Rat Restaurant, the sculpture park’s French bistro.
