According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a potentially hazardous street takeover occurred early on Monday morning in a number of different places in south Los Angeles.
The authorities reported that the street racing take-over began shortly before 1 a.m., where automobiles and people took over the route at Manchester and Main Alondra, Compton Gage, and Normandie Western, as well as Century Manchester and San Pedro Avalon and Colden.

In the footage taken at the site, there can be seen to be hundreds of people gathered on the street. After being struck by a racing vehicle that was out of control, a man could be seen lying still in the lane. He had the appearance of being injured.
When officers from the LAPD arrived at the location, the man could not be found in any way. The authorities think he may have been transported to a hospital nearby in another car before arriving there.
