WINS (1010) — TRENTON, NJ It has been confirmed by the governor’s office that New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s minor surgery on Wednesday went smoothly.
As of Wednesday night, Murphy, 65, had been discharged from the hospital following surgery and was resting comfortably in his own home.

The governor’s office has not said what the surgery was for, but they have stressed that it was not elective.
