Police Said an Suv Driver Was Hurt When a Piece of Equipment Fell From a Flatbed Trailer and Landed on Her Vehicle.

It has been reported that a 47-year-old woman is in stable condition after a well-drilling machine fell off a flatbed trailer and landed on top of her SUV in High Bridge.

High Bridge police said the dump truck driver was making a right turn from northbound West Main Street onto Bridge Street when the vehicle flipped and the equipment slipped off, colliding with a southbound SUV.

After the 1:45 p.m. crash in Washington, Warren County, emergency personnel spent over an hour attempting to free the trapped female driver. According to authorities, she was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The 59-year-old truck driver from Hamburg walked away unscathed.
