Newark Shooting Suspect Identified by Prosecutors; 3 Others Wounded

The identity of the victim of a shooting that took place in Newark late on Saturday night has been revealed.

Corey Beasley, 43 years old, was shot and died on Leslie Street at approximately 7:30 p.m., according to the prosecutors in Essex County. Three more people were hurt, and they are currently receiving medical treatment for their wounds.

The investigation, according to the prosecutors, is still going on, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
