An investigation is underway into the stabbing of a 16-year-old student near a Bronx high school on Tuesday afternoon, but he is in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 2:30 in the afternoon near West 195th Street and Jerome Avenue, not far from Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music, where the victim attended.
the police say something was used to puncture his stomach.

Five male suspects were on the run after police chased them south on Jerome Avenue.
Officers say the person is in critical condition at Jacobi Hospital. On Tuesday afternoon, he was scheduled to undergo surgery. No one knows for sure if he goes to the local school or not.
