A guy was shot and murdered in the Bronx this week, and his body was found in a car about half a mile away, authorities said.
The body of a 26-year-old man was discovered in a Honda CRV on Union Avenue near East 168th Street at 2:20 p.m. on Monday, according to authorities. He had been shot in the stomach.
EMTs arrived and confirmed his death.
Police said the man was shot a few blocks away, at the intersection of East 163rd Street and Reverend James Polite Avenue.
Police said he was driven to the location where he was discovered.
The victim’s identity was withheld pending communication of their loved ones.

Until Tuesday afternoon, it was unknown why the shooting had occurred.
