New Jersey Is Spending $25 Million To Repair Revolutionary War Landmarks!

On Tuesday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy pledged $25 million to the preservation of Revolutionary War landmarks throughout the state. This occurs before the United States’ 250th birthday celebration in 2026.

  • Old Barracks in Trenton,
  • a memorial commemorating the Battle of Trenton
  • The Park at Princeton Battlefield,
  • State Park of the Monmouth Battlefield,
  • Owned Residence in Perth Amboy,
  • at Haddonfield’s Indian King Tavern,
  • Somerville’s Wallace Home,
  • Location: Boxwood Hall, Elizabeth,
  • in addition to Kingston’s Rockingham.

Murphy remarked, “Heritage tourism is an essential and rising aspect of our tourism industry.” Without knowing our roots, it is impossible to chart our future. The American Rescue Plan provided $25 million in funding for the investment.
