I.M, the youngest member of MONSTA X, has decided not to renew his contract with Starship Entertainment.
The contracts of the remaining five members of the group, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Joohoney, have been renewed. I.M, on the other hand, will remain a member of MONSTA X and will take part in the group’s activities.
The group is currently on vacation and will return with new plans soon.

We are overwhelmed by the love and support that MONBEBE is sending to MONSTA X from all over the world.
SHOWNU, MINHYUK, KIHYUN, HYUNGWON, and JOOHONEY of MONSTAX recently renewed their contract with Starship Entertainment. I.M has agreed to continue and participate in the group’s future plans because all six members share the same thoughts and affection for the group and MONBEBE.
We will do everything possible to support members based on the mutual trust we have established. Our commitment is to give our artists our full attention and systematic support.
Despite lengthy discussions with I.M, we have mutually agreed to terminate the contract for the benefit of both parties. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to I.M. for his years of hard work and dedication.
We will fully support him in both his roles as a member of MONSTA X and as an individual artist.
MONSTA X has been on hiatus for a month. We are putting together various plans with the members to repay MONBEBE’s, unconditional love.
