One of the women from the new season of “The Real Housewives of New York City” has left the show. On Wednesday, Lizzy Savetsky posted to Instagram to confirm that she will no longer be appearing in Season 14 of the Bravo series.
Lizzy Savetsky announced her departure from the show on Instagram, writing, “I will not be continuing on the Real Housewives of NYC.” She joined the cast because she wanted to be a voice for people of her faith and identified as a “proud orthodox Jewish woman.”

Unfortunately, since my casting was made public, I have been the target of a barrage of antisemitic comments. In light of these developments, I concluded that this course of action was no longer beneficial to me or my loved ones.
When contacted by People magazine, Bravo provided an official comment. It added, “after thorough analysis and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on RHONY.” She left the show less than a month after Bravo said she would be part of the cast.
Sai De Silva, Ubah Hasan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield are also on board. Savetsky operates a Jewish dating service called Bashert to assist Jewish singles in finding romantic partners. RHONY Season 14 is now filming and will premiere in 2023.
