Four individuals were injured after a decorative helicopter dropped from the ceiling of DreamWorks Water Park on Sunday and landed in a pool below, according to officials.
The injured guests did not have life-threatening injuries, according to an American Dream representative. Three guests were treated on-site for minor injuries, while the fourth was sent to a hospital for additional treatment.
The chopper took off at 3 p.m., according to an American Dream representative. It was initially unclear what caused it to fall from its hanging position.
“Guest safety is our first priority,” stated the representative. We will undertake a full investigation into this occurrence to verify compliance with all applicable safety laws.
On Monday, DreamWorks will be closed, American Dream tweeted. Those who have previously purchased tickets should check their email for additional details.
