Sunday morning in New Jersey, an apparent murder-suicide claimed the lives of four people, including two adolescents, according to investigators.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Chatham Place, a man fatally shot his wife and two children before turning the pistol on himself, according to Linden Mayor Derek Armstead.
Officials reported that the parents and one of the children were pronounced deceased at the site.

The second child was transported to a local hospital in severe condition and was subsequently confirmed dead.
According to the police, both children were adolescents. Officials have not yet released their names to the public.
In a statement, Governor Phil Murphy said he was actively following the situation in Linden.
“Linden is a resilient community, and we will assist them in every way we can while they grieve and recover,” he said.
