The Nassau County Police Department has released information regarding a Leandra’s Law arrest that took place in Glen Head on January 9, 2023. The incident occurred on a Monday.
Officers attended to an auto collision that had happened at 12 Robert Road and saw that a 2022 Honda Pilot had struck a parked 2005 Kia. This information is according to the police.

The Honda was being driven by a man who was 33 years old, and there were three children in the vehicle who were 7, 2, and 6 months old. Officers engaged in conversation with the vehicle’s driver and observed that the passengers exhibited no signs of injury.
After the inquiry was completed, the driver was taken into custody without further incident and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

The children were given back to their mother, who had arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. The automobile was seized at the scene of the accident.
