A 32-year-old man from Jersey City was killed as a result of a shooting committed by a 24-year-old guy from Bayonne who was sentenced to 22 years in state prison for the crime.

After entering a guilty plea on Wednesday, July 27th to one count of first-degree aggravated, Nysheed Gleaton, 24, from Bayonne, was sentenced earlier today by Hudson County Superior Court Judge Vincent J. Militello.

Gleaton was found guilty of one count of first-degree aggravated. The No Early Release Act applies to the sentence currently being served.
Leo Hernandez, who is the Chief Assistant Prosecutor for Hudson County, was the one who spoke for the State during the sentencing process.
On the afternoon of Sunday, January 23, 2022, around 12:28 p.m., officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the neighborhood of 32 Belmont Avenue.
Rasheen Bostick, 32, a resident of Jersey City, was located by responding cops with an apparent gunshot wound to his torso. Bostick was eventually confirmed as the victim.

At around 12:55 p.m., he was pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center, which had been reached by Emergency Medical Services in order to transport the patient there.
