Mill Street Bridge, which crosses Qussaick Creek and connects to Newburgh, was also damaged when the vehicle drove into it.
According to what Lieb heard from witnesses, the gunfire that led to the automobile crash was the likely cause. One or both of the drivers may have been shot in the car, or this may have been a case of road rage.
There are what appear to be bullet holes in one of the cars in the photos taken by Lieb at the site.
According to Lieb of the Hudson Valley Post, law enforcement is unsure if a shooting occurred.
Multiple members of the New Windsor Police Department were seen conducting a thorough search of the area.
The location was also examined by a K-9 in search of clues.
