For the time being, the members of the popular K-pop band BTS are taking a break to concentrate on their individual careers. To follow up on the success of Jungkook’s “Left and Right” and J-“Jack hopes in the Box,” the group’s leader RM has just released a new track named “Sexy Nukim” in partnership with the Grammy-winning Korean musical collective Balming Tiger. On Thursday, September 1st, Sexy Nukim’s music video was made available online, and its admirers have been going crazy ever since.
Notably, this is the first time that RM has worked with Balming Tiger, who assembled the trio of rapper Omega Sapien, songwriter Mudd the student, and up-and-coming producer/rapper BJ Wnjn, for a single track. Just in case you missed it, Omega Sapien was a guest on the last episode of Vernon of SEVENTEEN, and Mudd the student became a national celebrity in South Korea after competing in the hip-hop competition Show Me the Money. RM, BJ Wnjn, Omega Sapiem, and Mudd the student worked together on the verses of Sexy Nukim.
Who Is RM In BTS?
Kim Nam-Joon, better known by his stage name RM (previously Rap Monster; Korean: born September 12, 1994), is a rapper, singer, and record producer from South Korea. His group, BTS, is a popular boy band in South Korea, and he is its leader. The year 2015 saw the release of RM’s debut self-titled mixtape.
His second mixtape, entitled Mono, was published in 2018, and it quickly became the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in US Billboard 200 history, reaching number 26. His Purchase of A Home in Seoul’s Yongsan Neighborhood in November 2019 for 4.9 Billion Won Resulted in A 5.8 Billion Won Profit a Year Later. It Was Reported in June 2021 that He Spent Us$5.7 Million on A Second Home in Hannam-Dong.
