The following is what East Brunswick Superintendent Dr. Victor Valeski said about an attack that happened at Hammarskjold Upper Elementary School this morning. In the message, Valeski talks about how important it is that the district report is correct and not just a guess based on online comments.
Here’s What the Whole Message Says:
At Hammarskjold Upper Elementary School, there was an attack on another male student by a male student today. We will not put up with any kind of bad behavior, physical violence, or anything else that could put students and staff in danger.
In spite of what people are saying, I can say for sure after watching our security video that no weapon of any kind was used in the attack. Our school security officers stepped in quickly, and the school administration took care of the problem right away. The East Brunswick Police Department was called and sent to the school because this was an attack. This is what we usually do.
