Update on the Stimulus: New Jersey Homeowners Have 23 Days Left to Apply for a $1,500 Programme.

Homeowners in New Jersey can receive up to $1,500 in the first half of the year if they apply for a programme by the end of January.

New Jersey homeowners and renters have until January 31 to apply for the Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters programme.

The programme will give homeowners ,500 if their annual income is 0,000 or less and ,000 if their annual income is over 0,000, according to the New Jersey Department of Taxation.

New Jersey renters with an annual income of $150,000 or less will receive a payment of $450, which is significantly less than the amount homeowners will receive.

Homeowners can apply for this programme online or over the phone by dialling 877-658-2972; either way, they’ll need an ANCHOR ID and PIN to proceed.

To apply, interested parties can fill out a paper application or submit one via regular mail along with the necessary supporting materials.

The Division of Taxation recommends that renters apply online. There is no phone option for renters to use to apply for this programme. They are also not given an ID or PIN.

Applicants can also download an application form from the website, print it out, and submit it via regular mail along with the necessary materials.

All approved participants in this programme can expect to receive their funds by the end of May. Payments will also not be given to recipients in the order that they were received.
