WASHINGTON, D.C. — Yesterday evening in Southeast Washington, District of Columbia, a shooting and a car accident left two individuals dead, while a third guy was injured as a result of the traffic accident.
Shortly before 8:30 o’clock in the evening, officers from the Washington, District of Columbia Metro Police Department arrived at the 500 Block of 11th Street to investigate a report of a shooting as well as a traffic accident.
Two individuals who had been shot and one man who had been injured as a result of the car accident were discovered by the police inside of a vehicle.
At the site, the initial victim was determined to be deceased after being examined. The second victim was found and transported to a neighboring hospital, but he did not survive his stay there.
The third victim was taken to the hospital, where doctors believe they will be able to save their life.
One of the victims who did not make it through the ordeal was a man named Othaniel Gaither, DC. He was 34 years old. At this point in time, the identities of the additional suspects have not been made public.
