Authorities in Hudson County, New Jersey, have announced that three people have been charged with murder in connection with a shooting that occurred in 2019.
Austin Be-Kwao, 25, Malcolm Horton, 36, and Khadijah Neal, 36, all of Newark, have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Lawrence Reid, 31, in Jersey City on September 3, 2019, according to Esther Suarez, the prosecutor for Hudson County in New Jersey. Reid was shot and killed on that day.

According to Suarez, Reid was discovered on the Wegman Parkway between Bergen Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive at approximately 12:50 a.m., suffering from a gunshot wound.

He died on Nov. 20, 2020. According to the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, the Cause of Death was ruled to be Complications from a Gunshot Wound, and the Manner of Death was determined to be Murder.
The three suspects were each taken into prison for different charges, and they will continue to be held there until they make their initial court appearances.
