According to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, residents who qualify for the state credit should apply by January 31 to get an average of $213 credit.

According to the New Jersey Treasury Division of Taxation, applicants must have an ANCHOR ID and PIN to apply online or by phone before February 28 to get up to $1,500.


The Lottery and Gaming Credit is available to Wisconsin residents who owned a home or apartment on January 1 of the credit year.

For the 2022 credit, you must have owned your property on January 1, 2022.

Wisconsin residents can claim the credit once for their primary residence.

The Lottery and Gaming Credit Does Not Apply to These Properties:

  • Garages
  • Businesses
  • Empty land
  • Rentals

Before Tuesday, January 31, return the application to your town treasurer.

The DOR recommends Wisconsin homeowners apply after receiving their property tax bill.

Residents can apply late to the DOR by October 1 if they miss the January deadline.

“The treasurer will determine the credit amount you should receive and either credit on your tax bill or refund you if you previously paid the taxes,” the DOR said.

Wisconsin calculates its lottery revenue—including track betting and bingo—at year’s end.

The state opens Lottery and Gaming Credit applications for property owners.

2022 checks averaged $213, down from 2021’s $230 but up from the prior two years’ $160 and $184.

New Jersey residents who owned or rented their main residence on October 1, 2019, and met income restrictions are eligible for ANCHOR property tax relief.

New Jersey homeowners earning $150,000 or less will receive $1,500, while those earning $150,000 to $250,000 would receive $1,000.

The Treasury Office said low-income renters will get $450.

The New Jersey Treasury office distributed filing mailers to homeowners in September 2022 and advised those who did not to file online.

“You will require an ID and PIN as well as your 2019 New Jersey gross income amount,” The Treasury Office said.

Homeowners who filed a 2018 Homestead Benefit application can acquire their ID and PIN through the application, but renters don’t require them.

Late spring will see office payouts for anchor benefits.

Direct deposit or check payments will replace property tax credits.

Maine’s winter energy relief program will send $450 to nearly a million Americans at the end of the month.

Idahoans who filed 2020 and 2021 taxes can receive either 10% of their 2020 income tax or $300.

Idaho filers receive the larger amount and joint filers $600.
