New Jersey’s ANCHOR program and Wisconsin’s Lottery and Gaming Credit provide property tax reductions for qualifying Americans.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, residents who qualify for the state credit should apply by January 31 to get an average of $213 credit.
According to the New Jersey Treasury Division of Taxation, applicants must have an ANCHOR ID and PIN to apply online or by phone before February 28 to get up to $1,500.

The Lottery and Gaming Credit is available to Wisconsin residents who owned a home or apartment on January 1 of the credit year.
For the 2022 credit, you must have owned your property on January 1, 2022.

Wisconsin residents can claim the credit once for their primary residence.
The Lottery and Gaming Credit Does Not Apply to These Properties:

- Businesses
- Empty land
- Rentals

Before Tuesday, January 31, return the application to your town treasurer.
The DOR recommends Wisconsin homeowners apply after receiving their property tax bill.

Residents can apply late to the DOR by October 1 if they miss the January deadline.
“The treasurer will determine the credit amount you should receive and either credit on your tax bill or refund you if you previously paid the taxes,” the DOR said.
